Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Middle School Mathematics Teacher located in Crystal Lake, IL. The Middle School Mathematics Teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging mathematics curriculum, teaching middle school math classes, including Algebra, and assessing and evaluating student progress. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with fellow teachers and staff, communicating with parents regarding student performance, and participating in school events and activities.
Qualifications
Expertise in Mathematics and Middle School Mathematics Education
Proficiency in Curriculum Development and ability to teach Algebra
Strong classroom management and student engagement skills
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and school community
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or related field
Teaching certification or license relevant to middle school education
Previous teaching experience is a plus
