Assistant Principal

Overview

As Word of Life has grown over the last 8 years, we are now looking to add an Assistant Principal position to our staff.  Primary responsibilities will include the supervision of our early childhood classrooms (4 preschool classrooms and potentially the kindergarten class) as well as directing a summer camp program.  It is a full-time, 12 month position that includes time off for each school holiday as well as 2 weeks in the summer.

Our greatest strengths as a school are our diversity, our teaching staff, and the positive culture of our community.  The diversity of our school includes 12-15 nationalities each school year, but it also includes various faith backgrounds, socio-economic levels, family backgrounds, and academic levels (serving students with various learning and medical diagnoses).  Because of this, it is part of our mission to celebrate and teach our students to respect that diversity.  Our staff have a true heart for the vocation God has called them to here.  It is because of their efforts, teaching, and focus on the whole child and family that we have such a positive, caring culture here.  We are hoping to find an assistant principal who will add to this culture through their support of staff and programming.
