Hope Lutheran School in Shawnee, KS, is seeking a passionate and dedicated full-time 8th Grade Homeroom Teacher with a main focus on Math for the 2025-2026 school year. We are looking for a candidate who:
Is a practicing, professing Christian actively involved in their Christian congregation.
Delivers comprehensive Math instruction using inquiry-based methods, designed curriculum, and assessments.
Demonstrates a solid understanding of middle school pedagogy and the developmental needs of early adolescents.
Possesses strong classroom management skills.
Is flexible and willing to teach other subjects as needed.
Holds a current Kansas Teaching License or, if licensed out of state, applies for Kansas licensure at the time of hire.
