Overview
Springfield Lutheran School is looking for a full-time 4th grade teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. This is a self-contained classroom position. Classroom teachers provide instruction in Bible, math, ELA, science and social studies. Additional teachers provide “specials” instruction in French, library, PE, art, and music. SLS is looking for a Christian teacher who is loving, organized, effective at managing student behavior, and is a strong communicator. We want a teacher who is capable of helping students grow in faith, develop academically, and have fun with the students!

Springfield Lutheran School is a growing ministry of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Springfield, Missouri. Started in 1979, SLS has been serving children ages three through 8th grade for over 44 years.
Springfield is located in southwest Missouri and has a smaller town feel with big city amenities. Springfield is home to three vibrant LCMS congregations, and has supportive congregations in neighboring communities. It's a great place to live and a great community to worship in.
