Primary Grade Teacher

Overview

St. Paul’s is looking for a First Grade teacher beginning in the 25-26 school year.  This is a self-contained classroom.

The candidate will join a very cohesive staff that is singularly united to Teach the Truth of Jesus Christ, Grow as a Family, and Support Mind, Body, and Soul.  We were nominated for two powerful practices during our Spring 2024 NLSA Accreditation: our annual staff retreat and onboarding program and our Christian character development.

St. Paul’s is located thirty-five miles west of Milwaukee, in the heart of Southeastern Wisconsin’s Lake Country region on Fowler Lake.   Named for the large quantity of lakes throughout the area, Lake Country is known as a great location to raise a family.  Neighboring cities include Delafield, Hartland, Dousman, Ixonia, Ashippun, and Watertown.

Several features that draw families to the Lake Country area include a reputation for strong academic schools, a median income level well above the state average, low crime rate, on-going new home construction, beautiful park-like neighborhoods with small town charm, and many church options. St. Paul’s is centrally located in thriving downtown Oconomowoc adjacent to City Hall and new high-end residential and commercial buildings.  Our building is on a commonly used walking path that circles Fowler Lake so that we have hundreds of people walking by the building on a weekly basis.  We are also the only school and church in the immediate downtown area.
