The Positional Responsibilities
Develops and administers Faith Lutheran’s French curriculum consistent with the school’s mission and goals.
Fosters a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages creativity, collaboration and respect of others.
Develops lesson plans and instructional materials and translates lesson plans into learning experiences so as to best utilize the available time for instruction
Conducts ongoing assessment of student learning, and accurately records scores for analysis.
Continues to acquire professional knowledge and learn of current developments in the educational field by attending seminars, workshops or professional meetings.
Organizes and maintains Crusader Connect for accurate and complete record-keeping, grading, and reporting for all student activities, achievement and attendance.
Ensures parental involvement in students’ education with effective communication. Emails should have a 24-hour response time.
Ensures that student conduct conforms with the school’s standards and the school’s handbook, and establishes and maintains standards of behavior needed to achieve a functional learning atmosphere in the classroom.
Coordinates with other faculty members & administrators, especially within grade level, to evaluate and assess curriculum, and participates in faculty meetings and committees.
Qualifications & Physical Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Education, French Language, or other related field.
Valid or eligible for a Nevada teaching license in Education.
