Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated School Teacher to join our team at Faribault Lutheran School. In this role, you will play a vital part in fostering a positive learning atmosphere for our students while delivering engaging lessons that align with our educational values.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement lesson plans that meet curriculum standards and cater to diverse learning needs.
Manage classroom behavior and create an inclusive environment that promotes respect and collaboration.
Utilize various teaching methods and technologies to enhance student learning.
Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their growth.
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to foster strong relationships.
Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field; teaching certification preferred.
Strong knowledge of literacy education and math concepts for K-8 students.
Experience working with students in an educational setting is essential.
Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to engage students effectively.
Proficient in lesson planning and adapting instruction based on student needs.
