Abiding Savior Lutheran School is seeking a passionate and dedicated First Grade Teacher to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year and beyond. Our school, located in South County St. Louis, serves students from ages 3 through 8th grade, providing a Christ-centered education that focuses on academic excellence and spiritual growth.
Position: First Grade Teacher
Start Date: August 2024
Responsibilities:
Create a positive and engaging classroom environment that promotes learning and spiritual development.
Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the school’s curriculum and educational standards.
Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents.
Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development activities.
Uphold the values and mission of Abiding Savior Lutheran School.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Valid teaching certificate.
Experience teaching first grade or elementary school students.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to Christian education and the mission of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod.
