Kindergarten Teacher for the 2026-2027 School Year
Faith Lutheran school is looking for an elementary education degreed, enthusiastic and caring kindergarten teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. A called teacher is passionate about Jesus and teaching. The teacher is excited about being part of a Christian staff that strives for excellence and models Christian lifelong learning.
This is a full-time position that includes teaching religion and the core tenets of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod—emphasizing grace, faith, and scripture, with a focus on the Bible as the inerrant and infallible Word of God, and Jesus Christ as the savior of the world. All candidates must pass a background check and be a certified teacher. Called teachers become members of Faith Lutheran Church.
A full-time kindergarten teacher is responsible for creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young children, focusing on their cognitive, social, and emotional development.
Job Responsibilities
Curriculum Development: Plan and implement developmentally appropriate activities that promote learning in areas such as literacy, math, and social skills.
Classroom Management: Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
Assessment: Observe and document children’s progress, sharing observations with parents and staff to support individualized learning.
Collaboration: Work closely with other teachers, staff, and parents to support the well-being and learning goals of each child.
