JOB SUMMARY:
The Executive Director ensures a high-quality ministry experience by supporting campus ministry programming, addressing organizational support service needs, and supporting Holy Trinity School. This role allows pastoral staff to focus on spiritual care and guidance while promoting an excellent experience at Holy Trinity.
As the operational leader, the Executive Director aligns HTLC/S’s infrastructure, systems, and support services with its mission. This role oversees the Director of Facilities, the AVL team, and the Communications Director and coordinates the school’s facility needs. It also manages infrastructure, technology, and business processes to ensure efficiency and policy adherence.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Ministry
Support and enhance the ministry experience by actively participating in Sunday morning programming, ensuring smooth operations for worship services, children’s ministry, and hospitality teams.
Collaborate with the Senior Pastor and ministry leaders to develop and implement initiatives that align with HTLC/S’s mission and vision.
Oversee the coordination of volunteers and staff for Sunday morning responsibilities, including ushers, greeters, tech teams, and children’s programming.
Ensure that facilities and AVL systems are prepared and operational for worship services and other ministry events.
Assist in planning and executing major church events, such as holiday services, outreach programs, and community engagement initiatives.
Develop and implement policies that support a welcoming and engaging worship environment.
Strategic Planning:
Facilitate the annual strategic planning process, including evaluating the ministry plan, organization, staffing levels, and support services to achieve the mission and ministry goals.
Partner with the Senior Pastor and Leadership Board to accomplish the HTLC/S mission, vision, and goals.
Establish and maintain a set of key performance metrics to monitor the effectiveness of ministry programs and business operations.
Assess the staffing, infrastructure, and resources to achieve the mission and ministry goals.
Business Operations:
Collaborate with the Senior Pastor, President, Treasurer, and other leaders to administer HTLC/S business affairs.
Oversee infrastructure projects, including maintenance, renovations, construction, and technology upgrades.
To support operational needs, negotiate and manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service agreements.
Manage Oversee?? risk management efforts, including liability assessments and insurance compliance.
Act as liaison with the community, government, and LCMS Oklahoma District.
Financial Management:
Work closely with the Leadership Board, Treasurer, Head of School, and other leaders to develop and manage the annual budget and financial plans.
Ensure timely and accurate accounting, financial reporting, and annual financial reviews/audits.
Review and report financial performance based on HTLC/S budgets.
Human Resources:
Develop and implement human resource policies, procedures, and programs (e.g., employment, compensation, payroll, benefits, performance, and personnel information systems).
Work with HTLC/S leadership, boards, and staff to administer personnel policies.
Ensure compliance with employment laws and legal requirements for an Oklahoma Non-Profit Corporation.
Facility Management:
Monitor the operation, maintenance, safety, reliability, and efficient use of HTLC/S facilities.
Recommend facility improvements, renovations, and new construction projects.
Oversee building programs, including design, architecture, fundraising, contractor selection, and construction to ensure timely completion and compliance with all regulations.
Technology:
Direct the AVL team, ensuring high-quality technical support for worship, events, and organizational needs.
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of IT and AVL systems, ensuring they meet organizational needs.
Communications:
Ensure consistent and effective communication between support services staff, ministry leaders, and the Leadership Board.
Provide regular updates and reports on operations, facilities, and project progress.
Provide regular and special reports to the Leadership Board and the Voters Assembly.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of related job experience with leadership responsibility for a non-profit or Christian organization.
Proven record of working with teams to achieve objectives.
Must understand and act in accordance with Holy Scriptures and the Lutheran Confessions.
Membership in Missouri Synod Lutheran Church is preferred.
Able to work evenings and weekends as required.

Specialized knowledge of financial, human resources, facility management, ministry, communication, and information technology functions.
Excellent interpersonal skills, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong planning, organizing, and strategic thinking skills.
Able to exercise sound business judgment and provide expert advice to Church leadership.
Proficient with Google Workspace, Church management software (i.e., REALM), and related software applications.
