Early Childhood Center Director

Overview

The Early Childhood Director is responsible for leadership, development, management, and administrative functions necessary to the daily operations of our program. Duties include program coordination, staff leadership, maintaining a Christian program which is compliant with the Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (“DCFS”) requirements. The Director will oversee the completion and maintenance of accurate records for attendance and finance as well as communicate and coordinate with parents, children,  staff, church staff and community in a Christian manner.

Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent in Education and/or Early Childhood Education

DCFS Certification (or with ability to obtain certification within an agreed-upon timeframe)

Christian by affirmation of faith and example

Experience in teaching preschool

Experience in management and/or Directorship

Experience in curriculum development, planning and implementation
