Overview

The Upper School Math or Science teacher is responsible for the daily care and instruction of 6th-9th Grade Math or Science students. The teacher is the daily leader, instructor, caregiver, and discipliner, in their Upper School Classroom. As part of the broader ILS staff, the teacher maintains our high standards in professional conduct, Christian mission alignment, dedication, and teamwork. This position involves approximately 10 hours of instructional time per week, with additional time spent on planning, grading, home communication, teacher collaboration, etc. for a total of 24+ hours per week.
