Linn Lutheran School in Linn, Kansas is hiring a classroom teacher for 2025-2026. We are seeking a caring and committed Christian teacher to lead and inspire a combined classroom of 3rd and 4th graders. This is a full-time position that is partly assisted by an instructional aide with competitive wages and benefits. Linn Lutheran has been a part of our rural community in Washington County for 144 years and we are looking for a teacher who will help us to continue to grow as we reach out and serve into the next generation.
Linn Lutheran School is seeking a full-time third and fourth grades elementary teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. This person should be motivated to work with our wonderful school students and help them to grow in their knowledge and faith in our Lord. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree with a Kansas Teaching License or ability to obtain one. Other qualifications include the passion to work with elementary students, exceptional verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, creative, resourceful, and a flexible team member. We offer a competitive salary and benefits and we are currently at 100% of Kansas District Guidelines.

Linn Lutheran School has been providing Christian education since 1882. Through a home, church and school partnership, we seek to educate the whole child - spiritually, intellectually, socially, physically, aesthetically and emotionally - in accordance with God’s Word. Immanuel Lutheran Church of rural Linn organized a Christian day school starting Linn Lutheran. Zion Lutheran built the current school building in 1950 in Linn. Those two congregations became an association school in 1967. St. John Lutheran Church of rural Palmer joined our school association in 1991. Due to enrollment increases, we added additional classrooms to our school in 2021.
