Overview
We are seeking someone who loves working with children to join our organization! This individual will plan and present age appropriate activities for children. This position would be 1:00-4:30 or 2:00-4:30 5 days per week, with an option to add additional hours when needed.
Responsibilities:
Provide care in our two year old classroom in the afternoon, this would include snack time, potties/diapers, a structured afternoon activity, free play, and closing duties.
Create a fun and safe learning environment
Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
Maintain the health and safety of all students
Candidates should be comfortable working with children ranging from infants-4 years old but would primarily be with our two year old group. If you love little children and want to help them learn and grow, this is a great job for you. We have great families and a wonderful staff to work with. Hourly pay rate is based on education and experience.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields preferred but not required
Lead qualified in the state of Wisconsin preferred
Passionate about working with children
Ability to build rapport with children
Positive and patient demeanor
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highschool Diploma or equivalent required
