Overview
Living Christ Preschool is looking for a full time preschool teacher for our three and four year old classroom. We are a small LCMS center with four classrooms, licensed for children 6 weeks – 5 years old.
Responsibilities include:
Instruct preschool-aged children in developmentally appropriate activities
Present Bible stories from our curriculum
Create a fun and safe learning environment
Develop schedules and routines to ensure adequate physical activity, rest, and playtime
Establish and maintain positive relationships with students and parents
Communicate with parents on students’ growth and progress
Maintain the health and safety of all students
Candidates should be comfortable working with children ranging from 1-4 years old, but will be with our preschool age children the majority of the time. If you love little children and want to help them learn and grow, this is a great job for you. We have great families and a wonderful staff to work with. Hourly pay rate is based on education and experience.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in childcare, teaching, or other related fields preferred but not required
Passionate about working with children
Ability to build rapport with children
Positive and patient demeanor
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Associates Degree preferred but not required
Highschool Diploma or equivalent required
