Duties

Develop comprehensive curriculum plans aligned with educational standards across subjects such as literacy education, math, science, and social studies.
Design and implement engaging lessons that incorporate learning technology and instructional design principles to enhance student understanding.
Manage classroom behavior through effective classroom management techniques and conflict management skills, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all students.
Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative evaluations, providing constructive feedback and tailored academic advising.
Collaborate with colleagues to integrate special education strategies and adapt lessons for students with disabilities or diverse learning needs.
Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) to organize coursework, track student performance, and communicate with parents or guardians.
Incorporate library services, physical education, and extracurricular activities such as tutoring or library visits to support holistic development.
Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood development, Montessori methods, early childhood education, or preschool experience to continually refine teaching practices.
Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; advanced certifications in middle school teaching preferred.
Proven classroom experience working with middle school students in a private school setting or similar environment.
Strong knowledge of curriculum development, lesson planning, literacy education, math instruction, and behavior management techniques.
Experience working with children with diverse needs, including those requiring special education accommodations or working with individuals with disabilities.
Familiarity with LMS platforms and learning technology tools used for instructional delivery and student assessment.
Excellent communication skills for effective instruction, parent engagement, and collaboration with colleagues.
Demonstrated ability to manage classroom dynamics proactively while fostering a positive learning atmosphere.
