POSITION Principal: Kindergarten – 8th Grade
SUMMARY Royal Redeemer Lutheran Church and School (RRLS) is seeking a principal to manage the overall academic program at Royal Redeemer. This is a full-time on-site role for a K-8 School, including providing administrative services, monitoring the K-8 educational programs, extended care, athletics, and food service. The RRLS Principal works together with the Preschool Director to ensure that the academic program and culture of the school appropriately reflects the school mission and best practices in education, thus supporting the school ministry as an extension of Royal Redeemer Lutheran Church. The principal works closely with the Pastor, Senior Leadership team, School Board, and other departments as necessary. Candidates for this position will be carefully and prayerfully evaluated according to the following requirements and competencies:
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education: Master’s Degree preferred, with a concentration in Education, Leadership or Curriculum. Commissioned minister in the LCMS.
Experience: Five years teaching experience required; school leadership/administrative experience preferred.
Certification: Ohio Department of Education License, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) & First Aid, Child Abuse Prevention and Recognition, Communicable Disease Recognition
Physical: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel or crouch. The employee must regularly lift up to 10 pounds, and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
