Job Summary

Teach in accordance with Lutheran principles. (Lutheran Church Missouri Synod)
Plan and instruct students in alignment with state standards
Analyze student data to improve instruction
Conduct formal and informal assessments to evaluate student progress.
Demonstrates and differentiates methods to perform classroom and/or subject-specific assignments for the purpose of providing an effective program addressing individual student needs.
Communicate both verbally and in writing with parents on student progress
Integrates technology
Monitors students in a variety of educational environments
Collaborates with colleagues to ensure the success of the school mission
Knowledge of current teaching methods and educational pedagogy in the area of reading and writing
Perform and follow school policies in regard to specific tasks essential to the function of the position
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited College or University
IL Professional Educator License (required)
