Overview
St. John Lutheran School in Battle Creek, Nebraska, is seeking a Jesus-loving, dedicated 3rd-grade teacher to join our team.
At St. John, we are blessed with a supportive team that works, plays, and has fun together, united by a shared vision to serve. We are looking for a committed, organized, and energetic individual who seeks to connect with students, staff, and the community beyond the classroom walls.
As part of St. John Ministries—which includes St. John Lutheran Church and an Early Learning Center—our school enjoys the strong backing of a tremendous congregation. Their support has enabled multiple building projects, including significant expansions in 2016 and 2020.
Although Battle Creek is a small town of 1,200, located just 10 miles from Norfolk, Nebraska (population 24,000), St. John has stabilized its enrollment by attracting families from seven different zip codes. Some students travel up to 25 miles, passing several other schools to join our community at St. John.
St. John takes pride in developing young faith leaders. These students serve as role-models for our younger students who aspire to be just like our faith leaders.
