Positions Available: 

  • Early Childhood (2 year olds Lead Teacher & Classroom Aides) Part Time
  • K-8 (Part Time Math Teacher & Possible Full Time K-8 Positions)

Early Childhood Openings: 

  • Job Summary:The ideal candidate will have a love for serving children and a warm spirit that welcomes families into our school. You will create a positive and safe learning environment, as well as develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. You will cultivate healthy and positive relationships with staff, students, and families of St. Paul. You will build trust and rapport with learners and participate in professional development and training as required.
  • Early Childhood Aide: In addition to the job summary above, your responsibilities will include assisting the teacher in care and instruction of children (classroom management), small group preparation and instruction (crafts, classroom materials), snack/lunch duties, organize and clean classroom. You will help set-up and clean-up of the classroom. Starting pay is $15.50 per hour.
  • 2 year olds Early Childhood Lead Teacher: In addition to the job summary above, your responsibilities will include designing and implementing engaging lesson plans, foster a passion for learning, develop the whole student – physically, emotionally, intellectually, socially, and spiritually, as they grow as a student. Key responsibilities include curriculum development, classroom management, assessment and progress monitoring, parent and guardian engagement, professional development, and active participation in school-wide events and/or extracurricular activities. Starting pay is $16.50 per hour.

Required:

Lead Teacher:

  • CDA (Child Development Associate)
  • Strong knowledge of standards and effective teaching practices
  • Prior experience teaching in a school setting
  • Classroom management skills and effective behavior intervention strategies
  • Proficient use of technology

Teacher Aide:

  • Skill set and interests that compliment our school team

Desired:

  • You will have a strong Christian Faith with active participation in a church and exhibit a commitment to Christian Education.
  • Appropriate state teaching certification or licensure (Lead Teacher)

K-8 Part Time Math and Possible Openings

You will cultivate healthy and positive relationships with staff, students, and families of St. Paul. You will build trust and rapport with learners and participate in professional development and training as required.
  • Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing engaging lesson plans, foster a passion for learning, develop the whole student – physically, emotionally, intellectually, socially, and spiritually, as they grow as a student. Key responsibilities include curriculum development, classroom management, assessment and progress monitoring, parent and guardian engagement, professional development, and active participation in school-wide events and/or extracurricular activities. Possible positions could include a K-8 classroom, specials teacher, or subject area teacher. There is a Part-Time position for the subject area of Math (which will be a pro-rated salary based on courses taught). Full Time Teachers start at $30,000 per year.

Required:

  • At least a Bachelor Degree in Education or related field
  • Appropriate state teaching certification or licensure
  • Prior experience teaching in a school setting (ex. Student teaching, substitute teacher, classroom aide, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of standards and effective teaching practices
  • Classroom management skills and effective behavior intervention strategies
  • Knowledge of how to incorporate IEP/504 into lesson plans
  • Proficient use of technology

  • Master Degree in Education
