Below are areas of need for St. Paul. It is not expected that the called worker do these things by themselves but in coordination with Pastor, other staff, church boards, and member volunteers.
We will focus on the gifts, abilities, and interest of each candidate and work together with all of the above to best fulfill the needs of ministry.
Job Description and Needs to be Considered:
60% youth, 15% congregational, 15% preschool, 10% administrative.
* Lead a direct Jr. SPY(5th-8th grade) and Sr. SPY (high school) programs.
* Bible Study and Gatherings
* Mission Trips and Youth Gatherings
* Fundraising Events
* Not currently available, but would like consideration and efforts to add or involve High School Sunday morning study
* Assist Pastor with planning curriculum and teaching middle school confirmation.
* Sunday morning church service Children’s message.
* Assist with Board of Education in organization and curriculum for JAM (Jesus & Me)/ Sunday School (currently 3 yrs through 8th grade.)
* Coordinator for annual summer VBS
* Coordinator for annual Christmas Program
* Preschool Program Assistance
* Coordinate with Pastor and Preschool Director for weekly Jesus Time with preschool class.
* Be involved and present for other congregational activities and ministries.
* Subject to personal interest and needs, such as LWML, music groups, preschool, study groups, care meetings, outreach/evangelism, and visitation.
* Be available for ministry visitation and discussion as members have need based on experience and interest.
