5th & 6th Grade Teacher (Semi-Departmentalized)
St. Paul Lutheran School
Called Position – Full Time

St. Paul Lutheran School is seeking a Christ-centered educator to serve in a semi-departmentalized 5th and 6th grade classroom. This Called position partners with families to deliver strong academic instruction, spiritual leadership, and a structured, engaging upper elementary experience within a collaborative team model.

Responsibilities
Teach assigned core subject areas in partnership with a 7th/8th grade teacher
Deliver standards-aligned instruction integrated with Lutheran doctrine
Foster a structured, positive classroom culture
Differentiate instruction and monitor student growth
Communicate effectively with families and administration
Lead devotions and model Christian character
Qualifications
Eligible for a Lutheran teaching Call
Bachelor’s degree in Education
State teaching license (or ability to obtain)
Strong instructional and classroom management skills
Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary: $40,800 (adjusted upward based on years of experience)
Additional Salary Adjustment: For earned Master’s degree
Retirement: 10%+ employer contribution to Concordia Retirement
Full Family Medical Coverage: Approx. $26,000 annual employer contribution
HSA Contribution: $4,800 (family) or $2,000 (employee-only)
Graduate Tuition Support: St. Paul reimburses 75% of Master’s degree expenses
