We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Christian LeadTeacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in childhood development and have experience in classroom management. As a Lead Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational experiences of our children, fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment that promotes academic, personal, and spiritual growth.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with faith-based curriculum standards and cater to the diverse needs of children.
Manage classroom behavior effectively, utilizing positive reinforcement strategies to create a respectful and productive learning atmosphere.
Provide individualized tutoring and support to children, ensuring their academic success and personal development.
Collaborate with fellow educators to design lesson plans that enhance a child’s engagement and learning outcomes.
Monitor children’s progress through assessments and provide constructive feedback to children and parents regarding their performance.
Organize large motor activities that promote health, fitness, and teamwork among children.
Maintain open communication with parents regarding a child’s academic progress.
A degree or certification in Education or a related field is required, along with relevant teaching experience.
Proven experience working with children in a classroom setting, demonstrating effective behavior management techniques.
Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices to support the growth of each child.
Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively and professionally with children, parents, and colleagues.
